CurrentOrbit LLC ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our website, mobile application, and related services ("Service").

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate and improve Lernix AI:

  • Account Information: You sign in with your Google or Apple account. We receive the name, email address, and profile picture that the provider shares with us. Lernix AI does not ask for or store a password.
  • Payment Information: Payment details are securely processed by Stripe, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Lernix AI does not store your full payment information.
  • Usage Data: We collect basic analytics such as device type, session duration, and error logs to maintain service quality.
  • User Content: Any content you input, upload, or generate is processed to provide the Service.

AI Data Usage and Model Training

Lernix AI uses advanced artificial intelligence models provided by third parties to generate insights, summaries, and other learning materials. We currently utilize services from:

  • OpenAI
  • Anthropic
  • Google (GenAI)
  • xAI

Your User Content is shared with these providers solely for the purpose of generating the outputs you request. Lernix AI does not use your personal content or data to train or fine-tune foundational AI models. Data processing by these third-party providers is governed by their respective API Privacy Policies. We encourage you to review their policies to understand how they handle data processed through their enterprise APIs.

We do not collect unnecessary personal data.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected data to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our Service;
  • Authenticate users and prevent fraud;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Communicate with you about updates, policies, or support issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

Apple Refund Requests

By using our app and making in-app purchases, you consent to our sharing of data regarding your usage and consumption of purchased content with Apple, including through RevenueCat, as part of our efforts to help Apple resolve refund requests.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate the Service. Each receives only the data needed to perform its function, and each handles that data under its own privacy policy:

  • Stripe: Processes payments and manages subscriptions purchased on our website.
  • RevenueCat: Manages in-app purchases and subscription status for purchases made through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
  • PostHog: Provides product analytics and session diagnostics that help us understand how the Service is used and fix errors.
  • Sentry: Collects crash reports and error diagnostics so we can detect and fix problems in the Service.
  • OneSignal: Delivers push notifications to our mobile application.
  • Resend: Delivers the emails we send to you.
  • AI model providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google (GenAI), xAI): Process your User Content to generate the outputs you request, as described in "AI Data Usage and Model Training" above.

4. Data Storage and Security

We store data securely using encrypted systems hosted in reputable data centers. Access is restricted to authorized personnel only.

Despite our efforts, no system is completely secure, and you acknowledge that transmitting data online carries inherent risks.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting [email protected].

Files you upload for analysis, such as documents, audio files, and images, are stored only temporarily so they can be processed. They are automatically deleted approximately 48 hours after upload, including any copies temporarily held by our AI model providers for processing.

Photos you attach in AI chat are not covered by this deletion schedule. We keep them with your chat history so we can show that history to you, until you clear the chat or delete your account.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access or request a copy of your personal data;
  • Request correction or deletion of your information;
  • Withdraw consent for processing;
  • File a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children's Privacy

Lernix AI does not knowingly collect information from individuals under 13 years of age (or the minimum digital consent age in your region). If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us to remove it.

8. International Users

If you are accessing our Service from outside the U.S., you understand and agree that your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The latest version will always be available on our website, and the effective date will be updated accordingly.
